Volt Energy Utility Environmental Justice Fellow and Howard University senior Aissa Dearing-Benton has been selected as a recipient of the prestigious Marshall Scholarship. Up to fifty college seniors nationwide are selected each year to pursue their graduate education in any discipline in the United Kingdom. Aissa will be continuing her education in environmental change and management at the University of Oxford. As the Environmental Justice Fellow for Volt Energy Utility, Aissa supports program development and coordination for environmental justice initiatives. Aissa also provides guidance on community outreach and strategic communication in support of Volt’s environmental justice practice.
